I’ve been a full time instructor of baseball and fast pitch softball for over 12 years. My professional career ended, and I had some questions to answer. I made it to the highest level of baseball and supposedly the highest level of training. I still didn’t have a good understanding of hitting or some of the other fundamental mechanics of the game. Understanding hitting was my main goal. Three hits out of ten at bats are considered excellent. In most industries you would be fired for this production. There are hundreds of techniques for hitting some considered right and some wrong. Why is it still a debate? Over a hundred and fifty years of the game and still hundreds of techniques and we consider a 300% batting avg. excellent.

Well I have figured out the missing information that will make all techniques understandable and leave the hitter with no questions. I’ve conducted over 23,000 hours of individual lessons in finding these principals and theory. I call it the Braski Hitting Theory (BHT). BHT is equally useful for softball and baseball alike. The player using BHT will become their own instructor and take ownership of their swing which builds self motivation to practice. A clear understanding will free them up emotionally to eliminate worry, anxiety and other confidence killing thoughts.

As for coaches and parents the BHT makes your efforts to help the hitter much more pleasurable. The problem that occurs with kids is simple. No one likes to be told what to do. It’s our human nature to solve problems. We don’t want someone else to solve them for us unless we plan to credit them with success or failure. The hitter wants the credit for success and pass the failure on to someone else. The BHT will eliminate this condition because the ball will tell what happened. With the ball being the information source and not Dad, Mom or Coach, the batter then handles and processes the information. All that may be necessary for the person helping is to ask the question “What did the ball do”.
